Smythson Greenwich Collection: Window Displays
For the past 6 years, Team Setsquare has been working with Smythson to develop, and deliver a series of bespoke retail window displays, launched within their four London boutiques: New Bond Street (flagship boutique), the Royal Exchange, Sloane Square and Westbourne Grove. The name of the collection: The Greenwich Collection, was inspired by Greenwich Meantime, this symbolic reference reflects both the British heritage and the timeless nature of this collection.
Introducing the Greenwich Collection
The full collection includes six bags, with specially sized padded pockets to protect phones, tablets, and computers. The collection presents itself in a choice of ‘classic black’ or ‘elegant granite’. Both designs combine calf leather details with bespoke lacquered cotton and semi-braided weave pattern to ensure durability, alongside a stylish striped lining, which was inspired by their original bag from the Bond Street collection.
Having established a strong relationship over the years with Smythson, by continuously delivering projects on time and within budget, Setsquare was appointed to produce and install the bespoke window displays, along with the production of internal display units to showcase their new products.
The project was a joint team effort between the Projects, Draughting, Carpentry, Paint, Metal and Installation teams who worked closely together to produce and deliver a high-end final product with four variations to dress the west-end stores. This year has been an important year for Smythson as they have launched the brand in the US. We would like to congratulate the team for opening a new flagship boutique in Madison Avenue and a further store at Westfield World Trade Centre, New York. We are thrilled to have been part of this new success and we look forward to sharing more moments with Smythson in the future.
Currently, we are working with the London Visual Merchandising team in the development and delivery of the AW16 window displays, which will be launched in November.
