#TBT FA Cup Lounge 2014

18th August 2016

With the Preliminary Round of The Emirates FA Cup season 2016/17 kicking-off on Saturday 20th August, let’s look back to 2014 when Setsquare was appointed by TBA to construct and deliver a premium hospitality lounge at Wembley Stadium.

The chic and creative space is still today used to welcome and entertain stakeholders, sponsors and guests. The build and installation was completed by our highly skilled teams, for both England home matches and The FA Cup finals. In addition, in 2015, the lounge was utilised to host The FA press conference, where a 3-year partnership with Emirates Airline was announced.

The Lounge

Launched at the England vs San Marino match on 9th October 2014, the lounge played host to 500 guests, providing pre-game hospitality at the venue’s Great Hall.

Our teams worked with true dedication to ensure the delivery met the standards required by the client. The scope of the project was to obtain an easily re-configurable space to ensure suitability for the wide range of events hosted at the Stadium throughout the year.

For a smooth execution of the project, Setsquare’s following teams were called to action: Design & Draughting, CNC Routing, Carpentry & Joinery, Paint Workshop, Metal Workshop and Lighting & Automation.

The range of work included:

– Bespoke furniture

– 3 m high curved fabric walls

– Sponsors logo wall

– Hexagon shaped stages

– Central bar island unit with glass top bar

– Central bar screen frames
